These antique flow blue berry bowls are in amazing condition! The cobalt blue is so pure and deep - you will want to use these dishes for more than berries!

Made by the WH Grindley & Co. in England, the Milan pattern is dated to 1893. WH Grindley & Co. was founded in 1880, making mostly earthenware and ironstone china. The company changed hands and locations several times over the years, and finally closed in 1991.

We also have a matching set of six dessert platesin our shop so feel free to take a look! (see photo of six dessert plates and five berry bowls)

Item Condition

Wow!! In great condition, with overall mild surface wear related to age and use. The gold painted and sponged accents show minor loss and wear. Slight crazing throughout. Several have areas of roughness and a few very small chips. All dishes are marked with the Grindley stamp (thought blurry) and indicate the Milan pattern.
