Vintage White Painted Doll Dressers (c.1900s)

Old doll furniture often holds a place in our heart simply because of the memories. But these primitive chippy white painted toy dressers will make you swoon. They are the real deal - creating 'make believe' stories and wonder for many children, so long ago.

Another country barn sale (pre-pandemic) turned up these authentic beauties. Showing many years of playful fun and imagining, they're now up again on the auction block.

Offered here are two matching chippy painted toy dressers in all their vintage goodness.The taller dresser has the mirror attached; the smaller dresser has the mirror unattached. The paint easily flakes off due aging, so these might be better off used as display pieces. More details below.

Item Condition

Good condition for two wooden toys over 100 years old!!

The shorter dresser's mirror is detached, but included; also missing a drawer pull. Neither dresser has been cleaned or wiped down due to the fragile paint surface that show chipping, flaking, peeling. Both show overall aging, surface wear, scratches, marks, debris and soiling. The mirror also show surface wear, darkening, spotting, silver loss and scratches. The drawers move easily and are somewhat loose.

In our humble opinion, they are perfectly imperfect showing huge character and a bit of sass!
