Vintage Robinson Ransbottom Co. Scalloped Yellow Bowl (c.1940s)
Vintage Robinson Ransbottom Co. Scalloped Yellow Bowl (c.1940s)
For collectors of American pottery, here's a sweet scalloped yellow bowl to add to your kitchen collection. Made by Robinson Ransbottom Co. (RRP) back in the 40s, she was part of a larger set of kitchen bowls. As you can see, somewhere along the road she became separated from her family. (hate it when that happens!)
Small but mighty, she is the perfect size to whip up sauces, salad dressings or use as a prep bowl to hold ingredients. Her whimsical scalloped pattern is anything but boring, with an understated sass.
RRP Co. began in the 1920s and went out of business in 2005. The scarcity of this pattern makes it a true favorite, in our opinion.
