Vintage Model Pond Yacht Sailboats, Set of 2

Hanging around our little 'pond yachts', it feels like we're rubbing elbows with the rich and famous. Elegantly shabby, these little model boats brought hours of joy to makers, collectors and children around the globe.

Often handmade during cold winter months, these little boats were enjoyed by the whole family during sunny afternoons at the local park. Today, there's a growing number of boat lovers who enjoy restoring old pond yachts or building new ones.

Our set of two red faded pond yachts have a buoyant wooden hull and weighted keel. The old cotton sails are now soiled and torn, but we imagine they spent many hours sailing across the pond, racing other boats.

Good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Paint is faded, scratched with surface wear noted. The cotton sails are torn, soiled and not fully intact. Wooden hull; metal keel. Unmarked, undated.
