Large and bold, this original lithograph is another piece purchased at estate auction in Central Ohio. The image depicts a man and woman holding hands (wife? daughter?). Their style of dress is reminiscent of people living in Eastern European countries during the early 20th century. The woman is holding a rose.
The entire image is in brown and black. It is signed by artist in pencil though not legible. The lithograph is 30/40 and it is dated 1961 as indicated in pencil. There is also a note written in pencil: 'Lithograph by a woman called A. Panayotova' which adds to the mystery.
The paper is slightly irregular and appears to have been hand cut around the edges. Unframed.
You will receive this lithograph carefully rolled and packaged in a mailing tube.
