For this history buff (or any ol' fan collector), here we have a set of four vintage paddle fans, including two with political advertising. And yes, these are the Real Deal!!
The smallest fan promotes 'Kay Murakami' for 3rd Vice President. Mr Kaoru “Kay” Murakami was a member of the Lions Club International Presidents 1981-82. The theme for his term was People at Peace.
The pale blue fan promoted Katsumasa Yamazaki, who appears to have been a District Governor of District 334-C.
The other two fans show no advertising, just gorgeous hand painted designs.🎨 Imagine the bold statement these would make if displayed in a grouping on your wall!
