Vintage Fortune Teller's Astrology Tea Cup and Saucer (c.1970s)
Vintage Fortune Teller's Astrology Tea Cup and Saucer (c.1970s)
Would you feel more in control of your life with insight from a fortune teller? We can't send you a fortune teller, but we can send you this fortune telling tea cup and saucer. It might bring a glimpse into the future (if you really want to know).
Our cool vintage Zarka fortune telling tea set is a Japanese-made version of the earlier Jon Anton Royal Kendall Taltos pattern. That being said, the signs on the cup are used by fortune tellers and for reading tea leaves, while the saucer show the signs of the Zodiac.
The inscription on the cup exterior reads: “Would thy fortune like to see? Perchance this cup will show it thee?"
This design was produced during the 1960s-1980s by the International Collector Guild.
