Is this old De Carlini ornament a young woman? We think so - and she's a remarkable skier!
This SWEET vintage blown glass ornament is the real deal! Made in Italy around the mid century era by the De Carlini group, she's been hand decorated with precision.
Perhaps she's taken a few tumbles skiing dow the mountain, as her skis are slight bent and ski poles show wear. (But honestly! I was born is the 50s and I show MUCH MORE wear than this little skier does!!)
A delight to behold, this lovely ornament will become a family heirloom for years to come.

Item Condition
Very good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Hand painted with exquisite detail. No chips or cracks present. The skis are somewhat bent but intact. Ski poles show wear to one of the paper disks. Minor paint loss to blue hat in the back of head and near cap. Glitter mica intact.
End cap marked 'Made in Italy'. Dated to the 1950s-1960s.
