This cheery troop of vintage boy scout figurines are a fun way to celebrate the scouts in your life. These little guys were made with fluffy chenille pipe cleaners in Japan sometime around the 1950s.
They all have hand painted faces with different expressions and are ready for their next outdoor adventure. Some carry sticks though some have lost theirs. Bendable, soft and twisty, you can form these little bodies to sit on a shelf or even hold hands.
We think some may have had a pin attached to their backs and worn as an accessory (see last image). But, we're pretty sure they've adorned may Christmas trees over the years.
Either way, they are precious reminders of boyhood activities. Hard to find, too.
