This pottery casserole was made in Wellsville, OH under the name of Bake Rite China. This particular mark was used for oven wares in the 1940s. The Wellsville China Co. was in business from 1902-1959.

Item Condition
Very good vintage condition with overall wear consistent with age and use. Crazing of the glaze, minor nicks and scuffs present but no significant cracks or chips. There is a tiny hole in the lid for steam escape. Marked on the bottom. Recommend had wash and dry and avoid extremely high heat.
