Rustic and torn, loved and worn... The New Book of Cookery by Fannie Farmer is a classic. Includes 860 recipes, eight colored plates plus 220 half-tone illustrations.

Now, if you're looking for a copy of this antique cookbook that is pristine and untouched, this isn't for you. THIS copy has the uncommon beat of heart and soul, with generations of use. She's responsible for a multitude of nourishing meals over the last 100+ years. (Oh, and it looks like it may have been placed too close to a flame as well!).

Yep, it's falling apart a wee bit, but that makes it even more interesting in our opinion.
