Tan Wool Bowler Hat with Feathers (c.1960s)

Our lovely felted wool bowler hat for women includes the original pheasant feathers, for a bit of swagger. The neutral caramel tan color is sophisticated and timeless, easily accenting many of your outfits this fall and winter.

Tagged Mr. John / New York & Paris, this hat was rescued from an estate sale in the original storage box and has many good years left. With a self felted ribbon strip around the base, the jaunty feathers add style, movement and a little sass.

Item Condition

In good vintage condition. Very clean and odor-free. Though barely worn, there are several areas of surface loss present, often called divots in wool felt (see photos). We recommend the divots be left alone, as this type of surface damage is typical in vintage felted wool. Or, we suggest you visit a millinery shop for professional repair if desired. Pricing reflects the minor surface loss.
