Original antique watercolor painting of young woman with jug is as real as it gets. Signed by artist 'Lorezo' and dated '99 (1899). This old world image was purchased from a retired art dealer who confirms it is from Italy and dated in the late 1800s.
Painted with a delicate hand, the woman's face and expression is haunting, yet familiar. So beautiful.

Very good condition with overall wear consistent with age and use. Paint colors somewhat faded. Mat has been painted to compliment with artwork. Overall wear on frame with scuffs, residue, paint loss; backing paper is loose, torn and taped. Includes glass in frame. Appears to be signed Lorezo '99 - though we've been unable to identify the artist.
