This rustic old landscape painting invites you to take a trip to the French or Italian countryside. The image of a young woman walking casually down a path to a church captures the essence of a lazy fall afternoon in golden sunlight.

Item Condition
Good-fair condition consistent with age and use. Overall surface wear, crackling, soli/residue and discoloration present. Top coat appears to have darkened brush marks and may benefit from professional cleaning, if desired. (personally we LOVE this original rustic appearance) 🌿
The frame has been covered in old fabric, showing wear, loss and loose threads. It also appears the painted canvas has possibly been applied on top of the cloth covered frame. (it's a mystery, to be sure)
Signed Richard Barne or Barnett, but signature is illegible. Undated.
