Primitive Blue Farmhouse Mixing Bowl
Primitive Blue Farmhouse Mixing Bowl
This primitive blue farmhouse pottery mixing bowl lived another life before making its way to us, likely serving up fresh berry cobblers and other delights. We are happy to give it another go-around, and hope you'll find new ways to enjoy this beauty.
The blue glazed interior is soothing, while the unglazed exterior tells the story of time. Probably used as bake ware back in the day, it shows the discoloration, nicks and scratches from age and use. The embossed pattern around the sides is enchanting. The mark on the bottom of the bowl is unidentifiable though we keep searching. Suffice to say it is fairly old!

Listing Includes
- ONE primitive blue stoneware mixing bowl (as shown)
Item Condition
In good pre-loved condition. The interior blue glaze shows surface wear, nicks, scratches and a few areas of glaze loss. There is a hairline crack near the rim about 1.5" long, but it doesn't go through to the exterior. The unglazed surface shows overall discoloration, dark spots, nicks, wear and chips. The mark on the bottom of the bowl is unidentifiable though we keep searching to allow us to ID the maker and date of the bowl. Truly a lovely piece of vintage goodness!!
