View CollectionWhile some shoppers would leave these old stained and weathered plates behind, we literally RUN to snatch them up. No joke. These are The Best, with dramatic evidence of a life well-lived.
Unmatched, yes. But don't they fit together like an old married couple? The faded colors, the pitting and chips, all embrace the essence of their story.
If you are one of the few who appreciate imperfection, you'll be lucky to score this pair to add to your stack of old china.

Beautiful-fair condition with wear consistent with age and use. Both show extreme wear: crazing, staining, pitting, plus minor chips and cracks. Both are stamped with maker and pattern, but difficult to read.
Dinner plate mark appears to be the Canella pattern by E. Challinor (England) which dates it to 1843-1862.
Saucer is marked W.H. Grindley - Athena blue pattern (England). Dated to the early 1890s.
