Pair of Pillows with Applied Antique Quilt Decoration

These two belong together, can't you tell?  Made from the same old textiles, by the same artist, with the same pattern. We think they are twin sisters, joined at the hip.

These beautiful graphics will catch your eye anywhere you decide to place this beauty. The workmanship appears to be newer (though that's a relative term), but the quilt decoration fabrics are quite old and fragile. Best used for 'display only' to protect their integrity.

- TWO pillows, handmade with applied antique quilt pieces over heavy canvas fabric (as shown)

Item Condition

Good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Base fabric is a striped canvas fabric (grain sack?) with cotton remnants hand stitched onto the pillow in a quilt design. All sides stitched closed. Stuffing contents unknown but is very soft and 'feels' like cotton. Back side is mainly tissue-thin red cotton fabric. Stains, dust, holes and overall surface wear present throughout.🌿 Unmarked and undated.
