Pale and pretty, these two antique prints share similar colors and aesthetics. And with a romantic appeal, these two lovely ladies would fit nicely into so many decor situations. (Honestly, there really are NO rules when it comes to decorating your space, right?)

The larger print with a green surround is after a painting by C. Warde Traver (1870-1945). He was a prolific painter and created many lovely ladies in the late 1800s-early 1900s. WIth original frame, there is some age-related damage, validating the age and use of this beauty. 📷 See last image of Warde Traver's painting studio around 1900.

The smaller Wm. Meumann advertising print includes picture of a young girl holding flower basket. The charming chain link frame was popular around the turn of the century. Wm. Meumann owned a general store selling groceries, crockery, hardware, flour and feed in Davenport, Iowa.

Listing Includes

- TWO antique prints of lovely ladies; includes one framed print by C. Warde Traver and one framed advertising print by Wm. Meumann general store (as shown)

Item Condition

Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The larger Traver print is signed by artist and shows a water stain at the bottom. The ornate wooden frame shows loss to the bottom area. The wooden backer has split into 2 pieces and is loose (easily repaired). The smaller advertising print also shows water damage with slight buckling of paper and has an unusual chain link frame. Both are covered in glass panel.

Both undated, but presumed to be early 1900s.
