The hefty wood base is covered in thick glass mirrored glass, monograms and etchings plus an applied foil paper interior. Monogramed APM with ANN inside, detailed etchings adorn the exterior glass. Likely used as a jewelry box or casket, it may have held Ann's other secrets, too.

Item Condition
Very good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The mirrored surfaces are near perfect with detailed etching on all sides. Monogrammed 'APM' on lid with 'ANN" inside. Lower left fastener in top of lid is slight smaller and a bit loose; others are securely tightened. Loss of foil noted in areas throughout. Fragile. Heavy. One-of-a-kind.
