Mid Century Student Art Creepy Cool Block Print

Creepy but cool, this mid century block art print was tucked into a folder when we found it.

The Halle Bros. Co department store Scholastic Art show in Cleveland, OH. Sadly it is unsigned, so we will never know the artist.

The expression on the face is one-of-a-kind, and would look fab matted and framed. Perfect for the art collector who abhors mass produced art. (like we do 👋🏼)

PS: The Halle Bros. departemnt store closed in 1982, but the The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards program lives on. Established in 1923, the awards program has a long history of recognizing and encouraging young artistic and literary talent across the country.

Item Condition

Good vintage condition with age related wear. Print is on paper was once adhered to a backing; shows remnants of glue on the back. Some discoloration and fading but magnificent just the same. Unsigned.
