Mid Century Scheurich 270 Pottery Floor Vases, Set of 2 (c.1960s)

Our organic-mid century-pottery fantasies are never complete without a couple of oversized pieces. This Scheurich pair (we kinda think they're sisters) is absolutely perfect to display tall grasses, flowering forsythia branches, or any large dried bouquets you might have stashed away.

Generous in size and hefty in weight, these West German beauties will compliment any room in your space. Although called a 'floor vase', just imagine one of these on your (expansive) kitchen counter or by the fireplace. Item Condition

Excellent condition with wear consistent with age and use. Minor residue and surface wear present. No chips, cracks or repaired noted. Very heavy and solid. 

Acquired from an estate sale. Marked with numbers on bottom 270-50. The 270 indicates the form which was produced by Scheurich in a variety of different glazes. The second row of numbers indicates the size on centimeters, approx. 20".

One piece has SoKo Cox and Japanese markings handwritten as well - likely a previous owner.
