Wow! There's a lot of kitschy fun loaded into this mid century TV lamp. A relic of Old Florida, this old TV lamp consists of two large abalone shells, other assorted seashells, plus two plastic flamingos mounted into a plaster base. A small electric bulb placed behind a shell illuminates the lamp when plugged in, although it looks FAB unplugged (sans light).
These TV lamps were popular in the 1950s and often sat atop a console TV. Some people used them as nightlights. These seashell lamps were often sold as souvenirs in Florida to vacationers.
The two flamingos add a beachy vibe to your living space.🌴 What a great gift for the beach bum in your life (and we all have one, right??)
