This finger painted watercolor was composed by artist 'Gen' Genevieve Matucha (1903-1989) who was recognized as a renowned Finger Painting Artist in the 1940s and 1950s. Rhythm, form and color combine to create an original beauty to be enjoyed by all who appreciate real art.
This mid century painting on paper is signed in the lower left corner. The yellow mat and chippy green painted frame round out a color scheme that will fit into many styles of decor: modern farmhouse, boho, rustic cottage style and more.

Item Condition
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Flecks of minor discoloration and accretions to paint and paper, most visibly towards the center left of painting are present. Chippy flaking, scuffing, scratching, discoloration, and accretions to frame also present. The paper backing on the frame shows tearing and wear. Hanging wire present.
