Mexican Food Celluloid Advertising Hook (c.1930)
Mexican Food Celluloid Advertising Hook (c.1930)
Who doesn't love an old Mexican food advertising hook for the kitchen to add a bit of fun cha-cha-cha to mealtime?
In a previous life, this celluloid advertising hook was hung on a grocer's wall and accumulated bills. Very useful and well-loved, the oval button advertised Walker Mexican Products before Mexican food was mainstream.
Today, this little hook has years of life left, and is looking for a second go-around in somebody's kitchen (maybe yours?). It'd be an exceptional accessory out on the patio near the grill so the Grill Master can hang utensils, pot holders or kitchen towels.
