Life was a lot simpler back then, when my grandparents grew their own food. They spent many hours in their garden planting, weeding and watering. When sustainable living wasn't chic.
The gardening tools they used were modest and dependable. Just like our rustic galvanized watering can, humble, sturdy, undeniable quality.
We can think of lots of uses for this old girl. Fill it with fresh cut flowers or dried branches. Add to a seasonal display (think pumpkins and mums). Or simply water your garden, like our grandparents did.
See for yourself.

Bail handle securely attached with wooden grip. Copper spout shows wear and verdigris. Sits flat. Lovely patina. Dated to the mid 20th century. Unmarked.
