This vintage beauty features one large conch shell surrounded by a jaunty plastic flamingo, a lovely piece of green coral, plus an array of assorted sea shells. All this attached to a pale blue plaster base. The small electric lightbulb can be turned on for a soft glow for a nightlight effect.
Often sold as souvenirs in Florida, these TV shell lamps were popular in the 1950s. As televisions became more widespread in homes, these cool shell lamps often sat atop the console TV.
(Warning: when the light is turned on, you may feel the urge to sip overly sweet cocktails with a tiny umbrellas)🌴

Item Condition
Very good vintage condition with only minimal wear noted. Yes, there is the normal dust and residue (which can be easily cleaned off with a dry paint brush).
The assorted sea shells, coral and flamingo are mounted VERY securely into the marbled plaster base. The small lightbulb is in working condition (image 2). The eclectic cord appears to have a repair, so you may want to just replace the cord and bulb.
Plaster base has felt feet to prevent scratching surface of TV. Quite substantial and sturdy.
