A signed and numbered lithograph by Israeli artist Artur Bar-On (b.1913) titled 'First Shabbath in Israel'. The faces of these children evoke innocence but depth. Bar-On is known for his multiple artworks of Jewish life and the faces of observant Jews. 

Dated 1970, the lithograph is in very good condition, but the blue mat shown was damaged and removed. Lithograph will be carefully rolled and shipped in mailing tube. Numbered 11/125.

Item Condition

Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and display. The print itself is clear and true. The textured paper has areas of darkening, foxing and discoloration due to age. As mentioned the lithograph will be sent without mat or frame, carefully rolled in a mailing tube.
