Henry Alcock Brown Transferware Platters & Soup Tureen (c.1880s)
This set of Henry Alcock brown floral transferware platters & soup tureen is perfect for any family gathering or holiday celebration.
An elegant example of the Aesthetic Movement of 1880s Victorian pottery, the intricate pattern and rich color of these old pieces will add the perfect touch of class to your festivities.
The sturdy ironstone base is meant to last, while the 'AVON' pattern reveals the craftsmanship of a bygone era. TBH, it's unusual to find a set set in such excellent condition, so we are pretty sure it was coveted and used only for special occasions.
