If you’re a bird enthusiast, this rustic bird house is just for you! Handmade long ago from reclaimed wood, bark, tin, seashells, a sand dollar and porcelain doll parts (frozen charlotte dolls), this little folk-arty structure will be perfectly happy sitting on a shelf or mantle in your living space.
Never mind that the back wall and bottom piece are missing - it’s too old and fragile to use outside these days. In fact, we decided to gently shore it up with a bit of glue and a few more nails to make sure it lasts another 50 years or more.
Wish we knew who made it and when, but the best quirky finds often come with a mystery. You will not find another birdhouse quite like it, so hurry before it’s gone!

Item Condition
Condition is extremely worn or extremely awesome depending on your POV. Handmade of reclaimed wood with bark shingles, a tin ridge, antique nails (some square), old seashells and a sand dollar. One side is a mosaic of (frozen charlotte) porcelain doll pieces. Somewhat loose and rickety when found, so we stabilized it with a bit of glue and a few more nails.
Overall dust, dirt, debris throughout. Interior stained from bird life. Missing the back side and bottom of structure.
