General Store Antique Pepper Tin (c.1900s)
General Store Antique Pepper Tin (c.1900s)
You don't have to own a general store to fall in love with our very old, very large antique pepper tin. Imagine the shop keeper scooping out an ounce of black pepper when lady of the house comes to town for her monthly shopping trip.
To be honest, we've never seen one quite like it (and don't often connect pepper with romantic shabby decor). Well-worn with paint loss, bits of rust and a creaky lid - it's just about perfect in our opinion.
Dated from the late 1800s to early 1900s according to the previous owner.
