A joyful collection, this early hand painted cast metal animal band will make you smile. Cold painting miniature metal figurines have been a pastime for decades, but often they were tiny soldiers or western figurines.
This tiny band beats them all hands down! 🎶
Unfortunately we don't have much info on this grouping. They are heavy, maybe made from cast iron, pewter or lead. The age is also a mystery.
We DO know you will not find another animal band quite like this one - which makes them all the more delightful.

Item Condition
Remarkable condition with wear related to use and age. Appears to be original paint. Scuffs, chips, discoloration, soil and residue present. This band has not been cleaned to preserve original patina. Similar figurines have dated back to pre-WWI and made in Germany or England. These however are undated and unmarked.
