Our fantastic detailed Putz house cottage feels like a step into the English countryside. With a fenced courtyard and full grown trees, she's a special one. The icing on the cake is the tiny woman entering the house.
Commonly made in Japan in the 1950s from heavy paper board, paint, mica glitter, cellophane for the windows and loofah. This cottage has a hole on the back to allow room for a light to be placed inside.

Item Condition
Good used condition. Sturdy. Some windows with torn or missing cellophane. Cardboard shows minor edge wear, scuffs, paint loss and overall dust and residue. Partial stamp of ‘JAPAN’ on the bottom. Undated, but likely from the 50s-60s. Missing chimney top.
