Chalk Pastel River Landscape (c.1940s)
Chalk Pastel River Landscape (c.1940s)
Another gem recently uncovered in a box of artwork from a local auction. Reminds us of a river bank down south, murky, humid, buzzing.
Found art. Heartfelt. Quiet. You might purchase this piece as a gift, but you'll probably end of keeping her yourself.
Sketched with a light hand, the soft colors are in remarkable condition, thanks to the storage in waxed paper. (Yes. Waxed paper and scotch tape.)
Add a bit of outdoors to your indoors, or someone else will.
