Canadian Potter Herta Gerz Ceramic Leaf Dish

Canadian potter Herta Gerz ceramics remain a highly coveted example of affordable mid century pottery. Originally from Germany, she and her husband moved to Canada in the 1950s where they created a wide range of colorful ceramics from 1955 - 1967.

This sweet little mid century trinket dish will have endless uses around your home. Most of her designs focused on local flora. Note the signature on the bottom.

Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Minor surface wear, dust and lint throughout. No chips or cracks noted. Signed on bottom. Dated between 1955-1967.
