Antique Blown Glass Teardrop Ornaments (c.1900s)

Here we have four colorful antique blown glass ornaments in the popular teardrop silhouette. Two ornaments have vertical ribbing with a pointy tip - hand painted in bright colors. The other two show a double bulbous teardrop shape, hand decorated with swirls on top of the paint. Attributed to West Germany manufacturing in the early 1900s.

Joyous and lively, these old glass beauties have given families years of Christmas memories. Welcome them into your home and onto your Christmas tree!

- FOUR antique blown glass ornaments in two different shapes, hand decorated in  bright colors (as shown)

Item Condition

GOOD antique condition  with wear consistent with age and use. All four ornaments show paint loss, scratches, and marks. No cracks or chips present. Original end caps and hanging wires intact though show darkening and oxidation.  

Ornaments are very fragile. We recommend cleaning these ornaments ONLY with a soft dry paint brush to remove surface dust. Avoid cleaners or water which will remove color.
