Purchased from an estate auction house, for sale is an original oil painting on canvas by American artist Edgar Yaeger (1904-1997).
Dated to the early 20th century, it shows Yaeger's influence by European modernists such as Paul Cezanne and Pablo Picasso. Known for his modern abstract style, this still life painting shows off his favorite bright clear colors. It appears to be unfinished, as if an interruption happened in Yaeger's life. Unsigned and untitled.
