Antique Pastel Peaches Drawing (c.1940s)

Another piece of found art that has us longing for a simpler life. Or maybe a simple pleasure, which we often neglect in our busy lives.

Peaches!! 🍑 Remembering a fruit stand, first bite, juice running everywhere. Yep, this soft antique sketch evokes summer sun, hanging out and not doing much of anything. 

Handcrafted beauty discovered in a mystery box from a local auction. (Sometimes you gotta take a chance!) These peaches, just waiting for a new place to call home.

Item Condition

Very good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Sketched on rectangular paper attached to a piece of cardboard. Has been wrapped in wax paper for many years which will be included with drawing. Colors are true, soft, muted. Various smudges, marks and minor edge wear present. Unsigned, undated. (Attributed to Ohio artist Pat Blume in the 1940s or 1950s)
