This antique nautical watercolor evokes a lazy day on the lake, when life was simple. Capturing the tonal hues and soft colors of the waning days of summer, you'll find yourself gazing at this sailboat all year long.

Yes, another beauty by artist C.P. Roseman, painted in 1905. Aptly titled 'Drying Out', we can almost feel the breeze on our face. Grouped with a gallery of seascapes, or on its own, this sailboat painting will add a tranquil feel to your space.

About the artist: Little information has been found on the painter, Cornelius Price Roseman (1852-before 1920). He lived in New York, painting in both oil and watercolor mediums. His subject matter was often outdoor adventures. Whether he has formal training is unknown. His work has previously been sold through major auction houses.
