Item Condition

Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The earthenware  platter is heavy weighing in at 5.5 lbs. Typical signs of aging present: staining, minor chips, crazing, pitting, scratches, fading and edge wear. Some minor repair work on edges noted. Marked on bottom No. 20, an incised H and two blue dots. 

Dated to 1848-1850.
