Marked Burgess & Goddard Royal Patent Ironstone, is was manufactured between 1840 and 1890. Burgess & Goddard were importers active in the 1870s and 1880s, represented firms such as John Edwards, Wedgewood and South Bridgwood & Son in the United States.

Item Condition
In very good condition considering age and use. Overall surface wear with crazing, tea stained darkened areas, marks, scuffs, minor scratches present. No cracks, chips or repairs noted. Large size, heavy and solid. Marked on the bottom Burgess & Goddard Royal Patent Ironstone dating it to the mid 1800s.
