A lovely sentimental gift for the newborn, this antique flax linen and lace pillow cover was hand stitched with love. We purchased this from a distant family member who cherished this line for many years, though never used it.
The flax linen is from England and is the sheerest linen we’ve ever seen. The intricate needlework and lace must have taken days, weeks to complete. It was carefully stored with a cardboard insert to keep it wrinkle-free.
This piece would be beautiful if framed and hung on the wall of a nursery.

Excellent condition! Appears to have been handmade but rarely (ever?) used. Minimal wear, no stains noted. Two tiny holes near lace as show in last photo. Button closure. 🐣
