Antique Botanical Watercolor Art From Autograph Book (c.1800s)
Antique Botanical Watercolor Art From Autograph Book (c.1800s)
Bring an unmistakable hint of vintage allure to any living space with our antique watercolor art from a 19th century autograph book. The book itself was falling apart and almost tossed, but once we thumbed through it, we knew the miniature nature-centered paintings had to be saved.
This autograph album belonged to a young man named William Moore Sanford who attended school at Troy Conference Academy in Poultney, Vt. during the mid-1800s. He later moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan where he apparently added more signatures. But only five pages included richly colored paintings from an unknown artist.
So yes, these five pages are being offered a set simply because they've belong together and are still so relevant. We suggest they be displayed together, complete with faded writing.

Darkening, edge wear, smudges and small tears present on the paper. A few have light pencil markings on the back.
