View CollectionThis grouping of authentic antique glass includes a total of nine mason canning jars: seven round and square quart size Ball Ideal jars, a pint size Ball Perfect Mason Jar, and two clear 8oz. Anchor Hocking jars. Most are dated from 1923-1933. Here's a helpful article on dating old Ball Mason Jars.
Most of these jars are made from heavy blue-green glass with glass lids and metal wire bails. Though they're retired from their useful life of canning, we can think of so many other good ways to use them -- as vase, as utensil crock, as loose change holder, and more.
Because these are one-of-a-kind vintage jars, they all vary slightly in size and shape.
