The 1960s was the decade of cake and this old spongeware pottery cake pan proves it! With a high gloss glaze, this beauty was manufactured by Morton Pottery of Illinois. In an effort to beef up their sales, Sears partnered with actor Vincent Price under the hallmark SVPNT (Sears Vincent Price National Treasures).
This type of pottery cake pan is known to produce light and fluffy, perfectly baked cakes. But who knows, guess you'll have to try it!! Let's eat cake!

Appears to have been never used. No chips, cracks, scratches, etc. Marked on bottom with a faint 2 and an SVPNT. Dated to the 1960s.
