Whether you live in a farmhouse or urban loft, here's a special gift for your kitchen. Keep our antique ironstone vegetable dish on your shelf, and you'll be reaching for it every time you entertain. Weeknights, too.

This graceful white serving dish and lid has been around nearly 150 years and is still going strong. English ironstone gets its rustic look from years of loving use, and this one has sure been loved. The design is very functional and not overdone - sweet curved handles, a plain knob on the lid, and a plain pedestal.

Substantial and heavy, it is marked Anthony Shaw-Burslem and was made in England around 1870. Because of its age, we recommend you avoid placing this object in the oven, and simply use for serving.

We hope this special dish becomes a family favorite and is passed down for a few more generations.
