Who knew food graters could have such an interesting history? These two Wonder Shredders were made by Jacob Bromwell, one of the oldest kitchenware, housewares and flask manufacturers in North America.

The Wonder Shredder was patented in June of 1930. The silver metal grater which includes patent numbers was manufactured after June 1930. The black grater, marked Pat. Pending, was likely manufactured in the 1950s according Jacob Bromwell. The black metal graters are scarce and hard to find today.

They originally were sold in a set of three, with different size holes. Both ends curve making it convenient to set over a bowl. Still literal workhorses for your kitchen, they'd also be a fun accessory to display in your farmhouse kitchen
