Small enough for a feather tree, these delicate old Kugel style ornaments were purchased from an antique dealer going out of business (our good fortune). Not your typical large heavy glass German Kugel bulbs, these rare beauties are dated to the early 1930s and made of very thin glass.
Some include the original metal flush cap and wire; some do not. All are translucent, begging to be situated near a light source to show off their age old beauty.
This collection of blue and green antique bulbs would look equally fabulous in a bowl or added to a mantel or window sill display.
- TEN antique Japan Kugel style glass bulbs with original box (no lid) as shown
Good overall condition with wear consistent with age and use. As mentioned, some bulbs are missing the original metal end cap and wire, though that could be easily remedied if you wish to hang these. The small size makes them perfect for a feather tree or other table top tree. Very thin glass, lightweight, fragile. The hole is flush with the bulb, they were made like German Kugels. No cracks or breaks noted. Recommend dusting with dry soft cloth or soft paint brush; do not try to clean with water or soap to protect the finish.
- Materials: glass, metal
