Old Textured Parrot Art Picture on Board

Every now and then we come across an item that baffles us. (yes, we are baffled). But, doesn't that make it more precious? This old parrot art picture is baffling AND precious, and you won't find one anywhere else.

TBH, we really have no idea how it was made. The design appears to be made up of tiny overlapping paper circles. They do not appear to be hand painted, but does appear to be a piece of wrapping paper, a liner, or wallpaper. But who the heck knows!

One thing is for sure, this little parrot will stop you in your tracks. Charming, subtle, quiet. Muted colors from the 40s or 50s. Feminine. 

Prop her, frame her or hang in any room. She's a keeper.

Item Condition

Very good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Picture appears to be designed with tiny circles of overlapping paper. Possibly a liner or wallpaper? Some edge wear, fading and discoloration. Mounted securely on plywood cut into an oval. Signed on back 'Nancy Blume'; undated but believed two be from the mid century.
