We can't stop staring at this pretty little painting. Who doesn't want to fill their home with an original piece of the past?
This charming little card fell out of a very old book from the 1800s, and upon further inspection we found it to be an original watercolor sketch. Depicting a village street with buildings, sidewalk, flower pots and hanging laundry - it feels somewhat European.
Not signed or dated though it is likely from the 1800s. Painted on off-white card stock, it shows surface wear and soil, with scuffs, smudges and corners somewhat worn.
