For all cookbook lovers, this is a must-have for your vintage book collection: the Gold Medal Flour Cook Book published in 1909 by Washburn-Crosby Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This large, magazine-sized soft cover cookbook contains 80 pages of recipes and advertising. Includes an extensive table of contents for the whole range of food (meat, vegetables, entrees, etc.), not just baked goods. Charming illustrations,100's of recipes and several coupons on the back page.

In remarkable condition considering age! As was common in cook books of this era, there is a hole in the top left corner with the original string to hang on a hook. The paper is clay-based which does not easily deteriorate, as you can see!
